“an on-premise Exchange requires the EWS API and cloud Exchange environments will use the Graph API.”
Connect for Outlook versus Connect for Calendar (US2402 Manual C4C), read 2026-10-25.
What to do. Planon's Exchange room reservation sync, Connect for Outlook (C4O), reaches end of life with Planon version L109 and is replaced by Connect for Calendar (C4C), which uses the Graph API for Exchange Online and EWS only for on-premises Exchange. Planon asks C4O customers to migrate to C4C through their account manager.
