Vendor notice
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/end-of-support-for-legacy-outlook-for-mac
“Starting October 2026, the legacy Outlook for Mac client will stop working against Exchange Online mailboxes.”

End of support for legacy Outlook for Mac (Microsoft Support), read 2026-10-21.

What to do. Legacy Outlook for Mac uses EWS, and Microsoft says it stops working against Exchange Online mailboxes from October 2026. Move users to the current Outlook for Mac: open Outlook and turn off the Legacy Outlook switch, or update Outlook first if the switch is missing.

Vendor notice
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/admin/connect-dynamics-365-on-premises-exchange-online?view=op-9-1
“This configuration uses the Exchange Web Services (EWS) protocol to communicate with Exchange Online, which Microsoft is removing from Exchange Online in April 2027.”

Connect Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) to Exchange Online (Microsoft Learn) (2026-08-14), read 2026-10-21.

What to do. This connection uses EWS and gets no new updates; no new tenants could connect from 1 October 2025. Microsoft recommends moving to Dynamics 365 (online) by 1 October 2026, or allow-listing the tenant for EWS for support until 1 April 2027. Another option is to connect to a supported on-premises Exchange Server instead.
