“applications like CiraSync Cloud will no longer be able to read or sync data that resides directly in Public Folders.”

An Important Update for Customers Using Public Folders in Exchange Online (2026-07-08), read 2026-10-25.

What to do. CiraSync Cloud can no longer read Exchange Online Public Folders once EWS is off, so Public Folder sync tunnels stop. CiraSync Support migrates the Public Folder contacts and calendars into a shared or user mailbox, which syncs through Microsoft Graph, and repoints the tunnel; the customer contacts support with the mailbox and folder name.
