“Because Microsoft will deprecate Exchange Web Services (EWS) in October 2026, users must switch to the GraphAPI authentication before that date”
Werk #19038: emailchecks: add option to authenticate via GraphAPI (2025-12-18), read 2026-10-25.
What to do. Checkmk 2.5.0 (beta 2.5.0b1, 18 Dec 2025) adds a Microsoft Graph authentication option to the email plug-ins. Switch before EWS ends. Set it up in the plug-in ruleset or under Setup > Connectors > Microsoft Entra ID connections. After 24 hours of inactivity you must sign in again in the UI.
One email from ewsappid.com each time a status on this page changes, nothing else, and none after 1 April 2027. Every alert has an unsubscribe link; one press deletes your address, or write to support@ewsappid.com at any time. Sender details are on the contact page; see the privacy policy.
